WILLIAM B : HOW FAST DOES IT READ/WRITE?MICHAEL W : It's USB2 I believe. It's as fast as other USB2 card readers I have used. I have been pleased with the performance while I am on travel. Sorry, I don't have specific throughput data to provide.HUMBERTO S : it is a lot faster than previous card reader i had. i don't have a numeric count/speed for you but, i am happy with speed. the only issue i have with it is that it has a hard time recognizing my 32GB Compact Flash 600x Kingston card don't know if just something with my card or not, but card seems to be read ok by other readersJANET S : I've found that it reads a CF card very quickly. I'm using a 16gb card that is usually full with pictures taken in RAW mode--I don't always erase my old pictures and it downloads very quickly. The problem I've found with cheap card readers is that the pins bend and after a couple of uses, I can no longer load my CF card. I haven't had that problem with this reader--so far it's been about 3 months of steady use.

Moshi Card Reader Great for Travel

I use the Moshi reader to transfer images from my CF cards and from my second shooter's CF cards at a wedding. The reader I used previously had a cord that would fall out of the reader and interrupt the transfer of files. The Moshi reader is all one piece and is perfect for transferring files so I can create a quick same-day slideshow at a wedding. I keep it in my ThinkTank and take it with me to every shoot.

simply works

My traveling companion when shooting on the road. use it to download images each day. it is no fuss, no muss and a great size to put in a travel bag. really like the attached USB plug, saves time and I can't lose the USB cable!
