The Motorola Desktop Weather Alert Radio provides early warnings to ensure you're prepared for whenever disaster strikes. With AM and FM weather radio as well as the ability to connect to external media devices, you'll always be in touch.

Specific Area Message Encoding (SAME) technology allows you to filter out emergency alerts outside of your county. When the SAME alert function is on, the radio will automatically play emergency weather/public alerts for your local area. There are 76 types of alerts, including weather related alerts, civil emergencies, hazards and child abduction alerts. You can disable alerts that you prefer not to receive.

It features tune in to AM/FM radio or NOAA weather channels. With 5 preset stations for AM and 5 preset stations for FM, you'll always find your favorite stations really quickly. If that's not enough, use the radio's AUx IN input to connect to your favorite music device and use the headphone connector if you don't want to disturb anyone. The radio has a built-in RBDS receiver which provides you with a range of informational features including clock time, date, names of radio programs, (including song titles) as well as radio text messages.
