Matthews Wall Spreader for 2x6 Lumber

• Wall spreaders are used in both vertical and horizontal positions. They are placed at each end of the pre-cut piece of lumber. With a few turns of the screw, you have a background support, or an overhead beam for hanging grip or fixtures.

The wall spreader is a two piece system - one is simply a receptacle for the lumber with a padded flat plate welded to it to protect the wall or ceiling, and the other is a receptacle for lumber and a telescoping piece to insure a tight fit.
