Easy to set up and calibrate. Complete package except for hood which unfortunately is treated as an accessory. All necessary cables included. SpectraView software easy to install.

I just received this monitor today. I can only review this as a sRGB screen as I currently do not have a video card that can support this monitor at 10-bits per pixel, but in sRGB simulation it is very accurate (not like the wide gamut displays of old that rendered sRGB poorly!). The colors are very accurate, the blacks are very dark and there is minimal glow, the pixel pitch is quite small and everything is very sharp and nothing appears washed at all. SpectraView is a great tool for those concerned with color accuracy. First, it's very easy to use, and it's cheaper to buy it with the monitor than to buy it (or something else separately). I set it to calibrate at 160cd/m^2. With the lights off, I preferred 120-140 and during the day with all the windows open, I may find I would prefer 200 so 160 is the happy medium for me. Even if I never find a way to run a quadro to satisfy my photo editing needs and geforce to satisfy my gaming needs, this is a very solid monitor.

Great monitor for moderate color correction. Easy to set up and calibrate with 10bit support through HDMI and Mini Display.

I'm using it with a 2014 Mac Pro and I could not be happier. So clear, so sharp, and wonderful color. I did waste 24 hours getting it hooked up and working properly due to inaccurate advice from both Apple and NEC so if you want to hook yours up to an Apple Thunderbolt port, read on. I first tried the hdmi approach and it worked, but was at a fairly low resolution. So I called Apple and they said I needed to use NEC's display port cable and to use it I needed an Apple Display Port to Thunderbolt adaptor. Just $29 but a 45 minute drive to the Apple store. Apple customer service said I could not hook up the monitor directly to the Thunderbolt port unless it was a Thunderbolt monitor. The results of using their approach with the adaptor were the same as the hdmi cable - pretty low resolution - I believe 1280 or so. Then I finally called NEC. They told me that if I wasn't getting 2560 resolution then it was because my graphics card wouldn't support that high of a resolution and that the resolution would not be affected by which cable I used. I told them a new $6,000 Mac Pro definitely had a good 2560 (actually even 4k) graphics card. She would not back off of her stand, but she did tell me that I could hook up the NEC provided mini-displayport drive directly to the thunderbolt port and that it did not need an adaptor. I did that and presto! Wonderful color, great 2560 resolution, and all is finally well. The NEC provided calibration system was relatively simple to use, despite a huge 60 page pdf manual which I will actually try to read some time. Bottom line - this is a great monitor, especially for graphics work (I am a professional photographer). No, the price is not cheap but I wanted the 99% Adobe RGB coverage. Side by side with my 27 inch iMac screen, it is sharper, clearer, and better color. I recommend it.
