Description
105mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor. Engineered for use with either Nikon DX format digital or 35mm SLR cameras, this superbly crafted lens is ideal for outstanding close-up and general photography.
Vibration Reduction Nikon's enhanced VR (VRII) technology is built into the 105mm VR Micro-Nikkor, which enables photographers to capture sharp images at shutter speeds approximately four stops slower than would otherwise be possible (at near infinity to 1/3x shooting). This is especially powerful for handheld close-up photography, where even the smallest camera movement can result in blur. In addition, VRII technology provides a stable viewfinder image, making it easier for your customers to frame their compositions, even at high magnification shooting.
Silent Wave Motor and Internal Focusing Nikon's Silent Wave Motor (SWM) ensures fast and quiet autofocusing. This is a must for close-up nature photographers, as extraneous noise could disturb the subject. SWM technology also enables quick switching between auto and manual focus operation. The Internal Focusing system offers a non-rotating front lens element, making it an excellent match with circular polarizing filters and Nikon's R1 and R1C1 Wireless Speedlight Systems
Nano Crystal Coat and ED Glass The new 105mm VR Micro-Nikkor lens features proven Nikon technologies such as Nano Crystal Coat and ED (Extra-low Dispersion) Glass. Nano Crystal Coat further reduces flare and ED glass element minimizes chromatic aberration. These work together to provide stunning image quality. |
