Purchased this lens as refurbished. Arrived looking like it was brand new, included front and rear end caps and instructions. Only thing missing was the original box. There was not even a fingerprint on the lens. It works flawlessly thus far. The 28/2.8 is a great lens for street photography, helping to reduce the imposing size of my D200 and D800. I have found that the 24-70/2.8 is simply too intrusive for effective street photography. The wide 2.8 allows me plenty of wiggle room to be less obvious about what I am taking a picture of, as well as plently of PP crop room.

Fine lens. Does exactly what I expect each and every time. Nice depth of field and wonderful sharpness at all but the extreme f-stops.

I use this to fill the need for the slightly wider prime lens. It performs very well in moderate to good light, not very well in poor light. Very nice wide lens at a very good price.
