Good insurance to protect my $2400 lens

By

from Brictown, NJ  -  Photo Enthusiast

I purchased my Nikon Holy Trinity because I want the very best glass for my Nikon D800. Protecting this investment is Simple Fast and relatively Inexpensive with this high quality Nikon NC protective filter. It's the "No Brainer" solution I recommend to all my friends.

Really Clear Glass

By

from Lexington VA  -  Semi-pro Photographer

I use neutral clear filters on all my lenses. The threads fit perfectly and do not cross thread. I have found all these filters to be absolutely clear with no apparent imperfections. This is a good way to protect the outer coating on all your lenses.

Use to protect lens without compromising images. Works with polarizer or other 77mm filters without having to be removed.

Great lens protector

By

from Columbus, OH  -  Photo Enthusiast

I haven't had a lot of time to test out the filter - it's been too snowy here in Ohio. Looking forward to a sunny spring!

Professional quality filter

Great neutral color filter that I leave on the lens except under the most demanding back lighting situations. The thin mount won't vignette with wide angle lenses.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
CLARENCE M  It does not make good logic to spend $2000 on a high quality lens and then to slap on an inferior piece of glass in order to save a few dollars.
Shopper  Does this fit the nikon 85mm 1.4 lens?
GUY M  Yes - I have used these together for a couple of years without any issues.
Pat H  Does this filter have a front thread so I can other filters (like a polarizine filter) on the front of it?
CLARENCE W  Yes it does. But use care when you stack filters. If too tight you'll have difficulty getting them separated.
