About Nikon

Nikon has mastered the art of effectively shrinking the size and weight of optics for the hunter without shrinking in the field performance-and the new 8x36 and 10x36 Monarch are no exception. Boasting a 367-foot field-of-view in the 8x and 314-foot in the 10x, Nikon has virtually matched the field-of-view ofits 8x42 and 10x42 models-but in packages that each weighs-in under 20 ounces and measures just over 5 inches in length.

Like the entire Nikon Monarch family, the new 8x36 and 10x36 Monarch ATB are fully waterproof and fogproof and feature fully multicoated lenses for maximum light transmission and image quality. The new ATBs incorporate Nikon's exclusive Eco-Glass (made without the use of arsenic or lead) for all lens and prism elements. Prisms feature phase-correction coatings and high reflection mirror coatings for superior sharpness and resolution.

Ergonomic styling, mated with a rubber armored exterior, provides added shock resistance and a firm grip, wet or dry. Turn and slide rubber eyecups with multi-click adjustments, complemented by long eye relief (17mm in the 8x36, 15mm in the 10x36), allow thebinoculars to be used as comfortably by eyeglass wearers as those with uncorrected vision. A large central focus wheel and adjustable diopter make focus easy to achieve and maintain, even while wearing gloves.

. Like all Nikon binoculars, the Monarch ATBs are covered by Nikon's 25-year limited warranty and the exclusive No-Fault Repair/Replacement policy

Very nice

These binocs are excellent, with very light, accurate focusing, bright view, and quite a wide field of view. I wear glasses and the eyerelief is perfect for me, allowing me to see the entire field without worrying too much about how they are positioned against my glasses.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  I currently have Bushnell Trophy binoculars, but I wear glasses now and these do not work with glasses. I mostly use my binoculars for viewing birds and other wildlife. Will the Nikon 8x36 Monarch ATB work with my glasses? If not, do you recommend something else? Thank you.
MICHAEL S  That would be a definate "Yes", They have a very nice large Field of View that's both bright and true to the color image. I wear glasses and they work absoutly fiine, with or without glasses. You just give the lens a half twist in either direction whether you want to wear your glasses or not. No refocusing is necesary. It's A great Buy!.
