After another bad experience with third party vendors with Amazon, I should have known better than to just order from Adorama!! There prices are the same if not better. The service first class. I ordered a lens from Amazon, long long long story short. Not only did I not receive the right lens, and the accessories . After waiting weeks, it came in without the lens case. Adorama, had it in stock, great price. My Christmas gift was now complete thanks to Adorama!

This len case just fit to my tamron len. But with hood then a little tight.

Any lens protection is better than none at all. A good way to provide minimal protection and not take up a lot of room in your gadget bag is one of these NIKON lens pouches. This lens pouch provides abrasion resistance to keep your lenses from hitting up against other items you have and to keep them properly placed in your camera bag. Too often I have seen people digging through their bags trying to find a specific lens, when, if they take their time and organize, everything will be right where they placed them. As a bonus, you maintain the value of your items by keeping them in better condition. The only complaint I have with this pouch, is the lack of padding. The psuedo suede will not protect the lens from any hard impacts. Of course, additional padding would increase the price, so there are trade-offs. Bottom-line, cheap insurance and organization in your gagdet bag. If you want more, you will have to pay for it.
