Carefully Decide

I was informed that these, which were on sale, would work with any circular eyepiece on a Nikon camera. The purpose is to cover the eyepiece while shooting photos thus blocking light, but most Nikon cameras have an internal flap that blocks the light. Either way, if you wanted to see what your picture will be, you would be using Live View in the camera. So, the real value of the unit is the little clip on the unit. If the clip's angle allows for attaching something without obstruction, it might be a very useful gadget and very useful for clipping an information chart of some kind. If not, you purchased the wrong item, which is pretty much what I did. I should have asked more questions, or more carefully decided whether they would be useful.
