JACK L : Is a case included?LARRY A : Yes, a soft case that snaps around the scope/eyepiece is included. It is set up so that the cover can be installed with the scope on a tripod, but the entire cover needs to be removed before the scope can be used.PAUL W : A soft case is included but it cannot be kept on the scope when your'e looking through it. This is a great scope and it is super light weight.STEPHEN O : Yes , there is a carrying case that can be removed without taking the scope from the tripod. However the case is not see through.. In other words the case has to be removed in order to see.JOHN B : There is a soft case with a little padding over the lens, but no padding over the eyepiece area, just a strange zipper/snap arrangement. So there is a case, but it has to be removed completely to look through the scope (which is a really great, compact scope with excellent glass.) ...so the case sucks.ANDREW R : Yes, a case should be included.

had it for 10y now fogged up jut out of the blue .no one will fit it .in nz. been very good up to now .i used it for hunting optics8.5-9out 10 size 10out 10 but fogging? after all this time.can it be fix.

Size isn't everything!

The size of this incredible scope belies its true character. I have never come across anything so amazing in such a small package. Incredibly sharp images, high contrast, sturdily built, and can be slipped into your pocket. It's light enough to be hand-held (with low magnification), but I would opt for the 27x Wide eyepiece in lieu of the 13-30x zoom. It has better eye relief, a far wider FOV (72 degrees against 40 degrees), is much brighter and definitely more sharp. [...]

• The Nikon Fieldscope 13 - 30 x 50mm ED Angled Spotting Scope with Nikon 13-30x Zoom Eyepiece is the smallest Nikon Spotting Scope. It is compact and lightweight, perfect for tucking into your pack for all your hunting adventures. This spotting scope has features such as the Nikon ED (Extra-low dispersion) glass for extremely bright, razor sharp, true color images which are free of flare.

It has fully multicoated lenses, digiscoping capabilities and waterproof and fogproof construction. The Nikon Fieldscope 50mm ED is compatible with six Nikon Fieldscope eyepieces and three Nikon Wide Digiscoping eyepieces.
