There are cheap knockoffs of this that I bought elsewhere and thought would be as good.. but the Nikon's cleaning tip seems to hold together better in use. Just make sure the lens element surfaces are free of visible dust before using the pen (side)..

This pen idea looked like a nice compact lens cleaning solution for the field. However, as near as I can tell my pen arrived dry. I couldn't see any cleaning solution on the lens and stopped using it for fear of scratching the lens

I have been a Commercial Photographer for over 30 year. We started off using lens paper and cleaner, then graduated to Microfiber and cleaner which is good for a deep clean if need. For day to day dust off and quick clean if needed this is great. I started using pens for my drone last year and finally bought this to keep in the camera case. Love it!

An actual Nikon branded LensPen just like the one I bought 10 years ago! This one is the real deal in actual Nikon packaging. This new one now has a screw on cap to protect the cleaning element so no more lost caps in my camera bag. Works great, just like my original one.

If you use the brush-end first and keep the disc clean, this lens pen is a good tool for keeping lenses nice and bright. It might not be suitable for really cruddy lenses, but perfect for on-the-go touch up: cleaning fingerprints, water or lens cleaner spots, etc. I would recommend this tool to be used in conjunction with a blower.

I bought this to clean the sensor on my DSLR. It's not really intended for that, but I had some residue on it, and I wanted to try this before I used a wet method of cleaning. It worked really well, but you can't get the edges or the corners. They also make a shaped tool for cleaning the sensor, but it's just a felt tool. It's a better shape, but doesn't clean as well. This also works great on lenses of course.

I have several lens pens, but use the Nikons for my most expensive equipment. They do not leave any residue on the glass of the lens or the filter. I use the Nikon pens for the final touch after cleaning the filters in the ray of sun light in order to see all the areas and spots that need the cleaning.

I recently noticed a blemish on my lens, and nothing seemed to work, even the Lens Pen I've had for years. Immediately after opening my Nikon Lens Pen I went to work on the stubborn stain. Within 5 minutes the stain was gone, and the lens looked like new. I may be a Canon person, but the Nikon Lens Pen is a superior product from an exceptional company.

Nothing much to say except it is a Nikon brnaded LensPen. Great price for the pen although most users will buy a cleaning kit and get a pen and other items. Great add on to a kit with a small pen.

It is easier and better than the a lens cleaning cloth. Gently rub the "pen" part of the tool on the lens and then use the soft brush to remove any leftover dust. No streaks of marks. It really works like magic. Sad I did not add one of these to my kits sooner.

Wonderful way of brushing away dust and cleaning your lenses. Very com-packed and really does clean very well. I will order another one very shortly to store in my other camera bag. wont do without one.

I use these on all my glass, from scopes,binoculars and cameras. They are great for when in the woods or field very easy to carry and gets those spots and smears that come from who know where, just make sure to get any dust off before using pad !
