Does the job

By

from Elko,NV  -  Casual/ Recreational

I bought the Nikon 1200 Gold for long range targeting. Very easy to operate, just point and push the button. I find it takes several attempts to get the long range targets (over 800) in some cases. Works well on the closer targets. I have got some readings out to the 1200+ but it takes a few attempts. I am satisfied with the range finder. It will be a handy accessory.

Check this one out!

By

from Sallisaw, OK.

This rangefinder is nothing less than what I expected from Nikon. I previously bought a Nikon scope for my rifle and think its the best. This rangefinder is easy to use, simple distance identification in the field, small and light weight. I'm very happy with this item and I'd purchase it again.

Nikon Monarch Gold Laser Rangefinder

By

from Tacoma, WA

Great product, hard to hold steady off hand at longer distance, usable when braced. Very happy with performance otherwise. I would highly recommend.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
EDWARD H  Nikon reputation, extended range, waterproof, good value, tripod adaptable. Needs a stable platform. I use mine with a short tripod on a stable varmit bench. Works great! Get accuraate readings over 600yds on prairie dogs all day long.
Shopper  IS the model # 8358?
MARK N  I have not used mine very often, but i believe the newer models have a compensator for your angle to target. this is something that i'd look at if i could do it again
Shopper  Does it posible to get mossy oad not black?
EDWARD H  Yes, it is available in Mossy Oak. It is $20.00 more, but I am not sure whether Adorama sells that model. For your information both models have exactly the same capabilities; therefore why would you want to spend extra money just for the color? The extra charge is necessary to pay the patent rights for using the "Mossy Oak" pattern on the rangefinder. Hope this helps, John
