Every serious photographer and fly fisherman knows the importance of having certain small items/equipment available without having to look for them in a pocket or pack. Scissors, knife, cell phone, compass, etc. Item attaches to the draw cord so you pull it out to use it, release it and it will return to the holder. And most important, you don't have to ever worry about losing it!!!

I used this tether with my range finder for hunting. I connected the tether to the side of my back pack. The one and only thing I didn't like was the cable felt just a little too short. The cable is 25" long and is coated. I wish that the cable would have been a little bit longer for the way I was using it. This wouldn't keep me from buying one. Its just the one thing I noticed while using it. It's nice quality and the cable retraction is very strong.

This tether works great on my Nikon rangefinder. Keeps range finder in play at all times without having to keep in a pocket. Excellent for bowhunting,

Great product to keep things handy while hiking or hunting.Convenient to be able to clip it on anywhere.BUT,I bought two of these for bowhunting and I am afraid they are too noisy to use within 100yds.The cable pulls out quiet but when it retracts it makes a fairly loud "click" sound.Pretty sure the average deer would "kick rocks" when it heard that! I used it for a successful rifle hunt this year and found it very useful but only because I was not stalking in at close range....

this product works fine but i found it to be over priced. i found simular products that did the same thing for much cheaper prices. i should have done my homework before buying.
