reliable

This is a simple product that works great. I've tried 3rd party ttl cables in the past and had confusing results, sometimes they misfired, sometimes they fired but at 1/1 power not ttl exposure. This cable is well made, transfers TTL information flawlessly. It works great all the time.

They too shall fail

I've bought 4 of these in 7 years and all four have failed. As expensive as these things are you would think they would last much longer. I'm going to try the Phottix Strato brand. If it fails after a year, at least it was much cheaper than the OEM part and it lasted about as long

One small caveat

By

from Undisclosed

It has reported in online forums that this product may not work with Nissin flashes. I have a Nikkon D5100 and a Nissin 866i mark 2 and they won't work with this cable.

Works Perfectly

This cable works as it's intended. It takes up minimal space in the camera bag and is a plug and play item. Highly recommended for anyone looking to use their flash off camera for creative or better lighting effects.

Works perfect

I have tried third party cables and they don't always fire. This Nikon cable works every time. If you do a lot of off camera flash sync work pick up a few hot shoe covers. I lose them all the time.

Stay with Nikon

By

Looked at some other brands that were cheaper, but Nikon has better materials and construction. Now I can get the flash off the camera for better lighting of portraits.
