Absolute necessary accessory

By

Lets me use the flash, SB900 without worry of getting the hotshoe contacts wet when out shooting in the rain. Keeps water run off from the flash from contact with hotshoe contacts. Great accessory.

Great support for the strobe

Extra support on the flash hotshot, also protects from water damage

Does what it says

By

Keeps light rain, moisture and dust out. Can stay on flash shoe to also protect from bumps when the flash is not mounted. Does not seem to snap even though there are catches on each side for it, but still stays on fine and pretty much seals.

Questions about this item:

Timeless S  Will this fit my Nikon d3100 camera?
KEN M  No.
Timeless S  will this fit a nikon d3100 digital camera?
Andrew R  Unfortunately no, the fit of this guard is specific to the D3/D3X.
Shopper  I tried using the WG-AS3 that was on my d700 with the Nikon D4. It does fit with a little force but you can just tell it wasn't made for the D3/D4 by the shape of it. I was considering shaving the sides of the WG-AS3 to make it snug on the D4. So my question is, will the WG-AS1 fit snug on the D4?
PAUL O  Hello "A shopper", I'm unfamiliar with the possible physical differences between the D3 & D4. I can tell you that the WG-AS1 on the SB-900 is a very snug fit on the D3.
