vish p : This warranty doesn't talk about lens coverage, if I bought a camera with lens, is coverage applicatble only to body or lens as well?LAURA F : I read the FAQ for this warranty and the first line reads " If I buy a camera and multiple lens are they both covered under the Service Plan? Yes, as long as they were purchased on the same sales receipt and the service plan has enough to cover all products under the plan tier." So, my question is, if my purchase is $1200.00 over the $3000.00 limit, ($2000.00 for the camera, $1200.00 for the lens, will it cover up to that amount ($3000.00) and I would pay the difference? It also states this, (5) “Covered Productâ€?: The consumer item(s) which You purchased concurrently with and is covered by this Agreement. " Concurrently means items bought at the same time. When reading the actual Service Agreement, the Replacement Plan is only good for 2 years. The Repair Plan a.k.a. Drops and spills is covered for the length of time of the specific warranty, in this case 5 years. To get service , " You must contact the Administrator for the appropriate authorized service center" It goes on to say you, the consumer, have to call to find a service center. You can't just take it anywhere. So, what I've decided is before I make a decision, I'm going to call New Leaf to get my questions and concerns answered. I bought an extended warranty a few years ago through XXX I was supposed to get the warranty in an email, it never arrived. I called and asked about it and was told that it would not arrive until the Manufacturer Warranty was up. So, flash forward a few years, the extended warranty all but forgotten about, something happened to my camera and I remembered about the $176.00 warranty I'd paid for, called XXX and they had no record of it. Fortunately I keep good records and had the credit card receipt. Called XXX back, they said they would refund the money. Three days later I called because I still had not heard back from then, nor got my refund, and low and behold, they were out of business. Adorama should populate coverage options

The website did not automatically offer the coverage so I had to look through hundreds more f coverage plans to find the right one. It would be better to prompt the user with the right options available. As far as the coverage, I have not needed to use/claim it so cannot comment on service response or support.

Great price for long term peace of mind.

I haven't had to use the coverage yet but dollar for dollar 5 years protection for the price I paid is an absolute bargain. While shopping I saw similar policies retailing for over double the price.

New Leaf got my back

It gives me a peace of mind knowing that my super camera is covered in case my hands are to silly to hold my camera. Knowing that new leaf got my back let’s me be a little bit more wreck less and get the shot I need and not worry.

***I have not actually used the warranty yet***that being said, from what I have read in the terms and conditions this covers repairs for my camera for accidents that are within reason. If my camera gets broken under normal circumstances then I know I will be covered.

Lack of written description of coverage is troubling

I looked up the T&C's for the coverage. I could not find anything that describes the "drops and spills" coverage, just extended warranty. I called Adorama help desk and was assured that it covers drops.& spills, but still no written proof. I was told to call Leaf. I could not get through so I gave up. I'm probably okay, but just feel unnecessarily uncomfortable.

Hope to Not Have to Use This

I bought this for a newly purchased Nikon D810, I am hoping to never have to use it but hopefully if I do they will cover it. Hard to review something that i haven't had to use but for now 5 stars and I read good things from other reviewers prior to saying yes to getting the leaf plus.

Safe state of mind

It's great to know that I can go out and not worry about the camera. If I was to have this service plan before I would have saved myself having to buy a new camera in full. While I have not had to use the service plan or plan to but just in case I do, it is nice knowing I have a service plan. I have not had interaction with customer service so I can only give 3 stars rating.
