I bought a used lens, and within a year it was having issues. Fortunately I had bought a service plan when I bought the lens. Arranging for service was easy, and the repair was quick (I think I got my lens back about two weeks later). Highly recommended for used lenses.

Very pleases this was available. Most warranty work on a camera will run you $200+ on average. So, ($) is cheap insurance.

I purchased this to protect my camera a few years ago. I sent it in to have some dust cleaned underneath my sensor. They directed it to some other company called United Electronics Group (avoid), and they sent it back to me the day I had a job to do. The sensor was clean, but they erased all of my shooting profiles (one of which I paid 100 dollars for) and the scratch audio did not work, the flash button no longer worked, and when I plugged in a microphone, it was terribly scratchy and unusable. They added so many problems that made my camera virtually useless, so I sent it back. Here I am, waiting 2 months later and I STILL DONT HAVE MY CAMERA. Worst service ever. DO NOT BUY

This is the best service plan out there.. don't get hung up on empty promises from other service providers. New leaf will definitely have your best interstate at heart.

Gives peace of mind knowing I wont get stuck with a lemon or if anything goes wrong. I'd say its worth the meager 4% price increase on the purchase - although, I've yet to use New Leaf services since the camera has not needed any repairs. The real test is to see how they honor the contract and how speedily repairs are handled. ...Companies really should prompt users for a review after a couple years of using their product...
