The price of an extended warranty was so absurdly cheap, I couldn't resist. Furthermore, I'd checked out other extended warranties on the same item and found them costly.
Electronics costing above $200 can be relatively expensive to repair/replace, often more than the original cost. The plan helps takes the bite out of the possible failure.
Reasonable cost for extra protection.
This is a great product for the money. I use it alot outdoors and it great to have a service plan in the case of mishaps!
Not that the description says anything about it, but this warranty will only cover mechanical defects. If you want an actual full coverage warranty, then you will have to spend a mere $10 more. Adorama needs to fix their verbiage on the product description and the details page to explain that this warranty only covers mechanicals and then maybe include a link to the warranty that will actually "provide a worry-free experience," because this ain't it.
