To begin, I wanted to say the people at Adorama have me coming back time and time again. They always help me find the right item that works best with my budget and needs. Keep up the good work! The D810 came in just as described. Being preowned, you do have to keep your hopes up. The camera feels very tight and solidly made and has a very smooth touch and action. Moving from DX to FX is a challenge. The reach of my DX camera with an telephoto FX lens is a plus but the picture quality is excellent with the 810. Yes, you can set the AF to DX but not nearly as functional as a basic DX camera. On a side note, although the noise factor is better than the DX, it is still too noticeable in moderately high ISO for my taste and must be fixed in post. To the plus side, the color processing I used in Photoshop is nowhere near as challenging. Only tweaks really. Main hurdle, it takes awhile to adjust to going back in time a bit in technology to use the 810. I still want to pop the screen for changes and use my fingers to enlarge the view. Nevertheless, the value is excellent and well worth it. Robin

I had been looking to upgrade my camera and when I was ready to pull the trigger the customer service reps did a great job in helping me find a used camera with low shutter count and on the basically looked brand new!! Also knowing that I needed it quickly, ended up getting the camera within 36 hours.

I purchased a refurbished Nikon D500 from Adorama and this extended warranty was the lowest price anywhere for the amount of coverage, giving me more confidence that I would be covered in the event of something failing. I am not a professional so it is not as easy to just go out to buy a replacement.

Great used camera. It arrived in the original box with manuals but the battery included was an off brand and it didn't fit. Kinda wish it included the original strap but for some reason that did not come with it. Aside from that it works greats so far.. I bought the 2 year protection plan too so if anything did brake I'm covered. Would buy used equipment again.
