Review Summary
This innovative lavalier features a high-quality, wide-range, back electret-condenser element with a low-mass diaphragm. Its specially tailored wide, flat frequency response and high-SPL capability make it ideal for rich full reproduction of both voice and music. Ambient noise pickup is significantly reduced as a result of its cardioid polar pattern and high input SPL, resulting in excellent performer isolation and reduced feedback potential. These characteristics make it an excellent choice as a performer-worn microphone, but its capability of reproducing a wide range of sounds also makes it an excellent choice for other applications such as instrument miking. Designed to be used in conjunction with a power module such as the SA-6202, or a compatible wireless transmitter, the SA-347's unique combination of quality, flexibility, and reliable operation make it one of the best choices in its price range.
