I hate shoulder bags. They are tiresome to carry, they take both hands to use, they swing around when you try to get low and they are expensive. The Newswear large fanny pack allows easy, one handed access to my equipment. I can wear it for hours without fatigue and is moderately priced. It is low profile so it fits under my jacket when it is raining. It just looks like a fanny pack unlike some other brands where you look and feel like the "Michelin Man" I carry a Nikon 70-300mm VR in the middle pocket and a Tokina 12-24mm in the left side pocket (tight fit). There are pockets in the flaps large enough for an iPhone, memory cards, filters etc... The biggest Con I can think of is Newswear uses too much Velcro on the flaps, so sometimes you really have to pull hard to open a pocket. I added a piece of fabric to cover some of the Velcro so it isn't quiet as "grabby".

Wasn't as well-made as I expected. However, Nikon 80-200 2.8 lens fits in middle pocket very nicely (with or without hood). Side pockets will accomidate a SB-800 flash and a short lens. Would have liked another larger pocket to fit a DSLR body. Kind of pricey.
