Strong value

These replaced a Nikon Travelite that got knocked out of alignment. When I saw these at $60 with the same basic specs, I decided to buy them. On initial set up and trial, they appear to be equivalent. There are a couple adjustment factors - eye pieces that have to be extended, cover on the eye pieces rather than the final lens, and the Nikon has a slightly better feel in my hands...all that to say, these are great, just different. If I was paying full list price, I would have stayed with the Travelite. Now to see if the Olympus holds up under the same use. The diopter adjustment will stay in position better, because it is not part of the eye protector, but on it's own separate collar and it's easy to remove the lens caps while while extending the eye pieces.

Perfect size for a woman!

This was a gift for my relative who lives near a port in a foreign country, and who loves to watch the ships come in. This will only enhance that experience! They are small and lightweight, easy to hold for a small woman, but powerful!
