Ergonomics and stability are fantastic, construction rugged. Optics and focus are clear, close to excellent. There is no threaded mount for tripods and there are four individual lens covers which are not secured to the glasses. The case is lightweight and appears well made. The velcro flap lock makes loud noise in quite environments. The strap is basic, thin and should be replaced with something more comfortable. No collimation correction necessary after shipping or mild bumps. I've yet to drop these binos due to the rubber coating. My only initial complaint was the molding around the eyecups which were rough enough to scratch skin. The rubber needs to be smoothed down. No fatigue for me holding these for extended periods. Light sources from the side will cause particles/debris within to reflect. Blocking the light with a hand will rectify this. Good binoculars for the cost if you mean to use them in places such as woodlands or close viewing. No problem focusing on objects 12 feet away. I have not tested theses in high humidity or rain.

I went whale watching with this binocular. It is surprisingly bright, easy to focus and maintain handheld visual, even with all the pitching of the boat.

I got these for my 11 year old for general use. My own binos are bigger and more expensive, but ironically, we end up using these more often, because they're lightweight and easy to carry around. They throw up a nice, bright, crisp image in the center. The focus mechanism is smooth, with no slop, and perfect fluid resistance. Every time I look through them, I think, "these were less than fifty bucks?"

These sleek looking, and rugged, black finished binoculars, are big on optical performance and comes in an affordable package. Enjoy the splendors of hiking, bird-watching, sporting events and more with its wide-angle field of view and UV-protected optics. Besides its rugged, high-quality black finish with sure-grip rubber coating adds a classic look and feel.
