This dovetail base now allows me to switch out my 9x50 illuminated finder-scope between my reflector and refractor telescopes.
The Orion Dovetail Base is for custom installation of any Orion finder scope or EZ Finder II on telescopes not already equipped with a compatible base. Base is made of aluminum and features a large thumbscrew lock. Includes mounting hardware. Standard Base (#7214) is for use on any telescope except Schmidt-Cassegrains.
