1.25" Orion Star Diagonal

I find this star diagonal very useful when trying to observe objects near zenith. Being able to mount the filter on the star diagonal means I can leave a filter installed on it while changing out eyepieces.

A very good 1.25" Star Diagonal

I use this star diagonal when viewing objects near zenith with my 6 inch refractor. It greatly facilitates viewing. I also use filters most of the time, so having the star diagonal threaded is of gerat help.

About Orion 8763 1.25in Prism Star Diagonal

The Orion 1.25" Prism Star Diagonal features fully coated prisms, delivering superior image fidelity. Each features a machined aluminum eyepiece holder and a chrome-plated metal barrel that's threaded for filters. The eyepiece holder has a setscrew for locking the eyepiece securely in place. It produces an image that is right-side up and reversed left to right. The diagonal is not recommended for use in reflector telescopes.
