I bought these rings to mount my 6" imaging reflector. They came packed very well and arrived in a timely manner. I liked the fact that one of the rings has an adapter to mount a DSLR camera on top of the scope. The rings seem to hold the scope pretty good. They also attach to the dovetail bar that I bought nicely. As long as you make sure the rings are tight around the scope there should be no problem. The one thing I didn't like about the rings were their weight. I'm using them as part of an astrophotography setup and any extra weight is a burden on accurate and stable guiding. I guess I rather have them be a little heavy and sturdy then light and flimsy though. All in all it's a good product and I felt like I got my money's worth.

The Orion 182mm ID Telescope Cast-Aluminum Tube Ring set features quick-release, hinged clamp knobs and felt lining. Designed for use with Orion mounts, they fit some other brands of mounts as well. One of the two rings in the set has a 1/4"-20 piggyback camera adapter on it, the other has a threaded 1/4"-20 hole.
The piggyback camera adapter can be removed for mounting an adapter plate for a guide scope on top of the tube rings. For use with SkyView Pro or Atlas mounts, you will also need a dovetail mounting plate, #7383 (8" length) or #7385 (13" length). Set of two rings includes mounting bolts and washers.
