The D-Shortie offers great protection in a streamlined design so it is a pleasure to take along on a photo shoot or to pack within another bag. It comes with an attached snap hook retaining strap and features non-marring snap closure on the bottom of the pouch.

COLIN B  I don't know about the Canon G1X - I bought this for my GXR and it provides a snug fit for that camera together with its 50mm lens. Not sure if that's comparable to your needs.. but I do like this product -C
Shopper  Does this fit the Olympus OMD-EM5?
Matt S  I just tried the case on my EM5 with the 12mm lens. It does fit but is very tight. Was only able to button one of the buttons. Would work but is not the best solution. Would not work with a larger lens other than possibly the 45mm or the like.
