With the rubber O ring is this probably the best rear lens cap made for most lenses. It sest so that dust cannot easily enter and the cap is less prone to ratteling off when bounced around in a camera bag all day. It is better that the flange lens cap approach taken by Canon in my opinion.

I was looking for a tighter fit so the lens was protected and securely covered. This fits the bill nicely.

Exactly what it says. A single piece of plastic consisting of two lens caps. As a specialty item it costs 2-3x what two separate caps cost, but the idea itself deserves credit.

Nice for storing a pair of my small prime lenses in my back pack. Mate the two of them and they stay stable, no rolling around, easier to find, too.

I use the OpTech lens mount caps for all my lenses. Much more secure than what's provided by the manufacturer. Well-constructed and should last a lifetime.

They're bigger than I expected, as in the width of my lenses, not just a thin piece of plastic to cover the mount. They fit very snug on the lens to seal out dust and moisture. I would use these on all my lenses.

Tired of Nikon & 3rd party rear caps coming loose, exposing lens elements, this cap works great and is gasket sealed as well. You do have to pay attention to line up the dots when donning.

Very good for keeping track of lots of small fixed lenses. I use them for bundling all my small fixed lenses together in my big bag. Well made, just wish they painted the alignment marks. They are hard to see in low light. I painted them myself.

What a great idea! This little gadgit keeps my lens from rolling around in my backpack camera bag, and keeps dust out. One end cap vs two makes more sense plus it utilizes your bag space better when you have several lenses .

I epoxied two cheap generic caps together, but they were not that snug on the lenses. Got theses caps hoping the o-ring would help. They aren't really any better than my home-made sets. They do allow stacking the small lenses in one pouch or pocket, so I can make a smaller traveling bag.

Op/Tech lens mount caps are excellent products and I recommend them without reservation. I find them especially important whern traveling. Unlike standard plastic caps which can vibrate loose and come off, these caps form a tight seal to keep dust out. The double mount cap is especially useful when traveling because two short or medium lenses can be coupled together to save space.

The entire line of Op/Tech lens caps are high quality aftermarket products that should be original equipment from the camera manufacturers. The double lens mount cap is particularly useful for travel. The ability to couple two smaller lenses together is a real space saver.

I have been glueing rear lens caps together for 20 years. That allows for fast and safer lens changing, no handling or dropping of loose caps. These fit even better than OEM.

Bought one of these because a second hand lens did not come with a rear cap. I really thought I was being hosed paying so much for an item you see everywhere for half as much. This is a VERY secure cap, will not come loose! O-ring sealed! covers the entire lens mount! Buying one for each of my lenses!
