Handy and Quick
I use mine when I am trying to shoot a group of people in a hurry outside. I need to throw one lens back in my bag and grab a new one and I put this on the one I am done with. I know it doesn't seem like it would take that long to find your cap and screw it back on but somehow it does when you are on the beach and kids are trying to run away. I have been glad to have it.

Works very well
I uses these to cover my lenses when I'm out and about, and love it. they help to protect from bumps, mists, etc and very easily removed. I don't use them with a camera hood, just slip on and off; works as well if not better than a lens cap, and since I use the slim UV filters (which don't allow conventional caps) works very well for protection.
