Op/Tech Lens Sleeve, 4" Long Lens Protection, can be used with Hood Hat

I am not a fan of the lens cases that come with new lenses. Why? Simply because when the lens is inside the pouch, you can not tell which lens it is (if you have many lenses in your bag as I do). Also, the lens slides around inside the oversized pouch. Enter the Op/Tech Lens Sleeve, and this has all changed. I love this product, the way I use it is insert my lens into it, with the rear, lens cap facing up. On the black lens cap I use a white, oil-based sharpie and write which lens, ie 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, etc. Now I know which lens is in the sleeve, and pull from my bag accordingly. Plus, with the Op/Tech Lens Sleeve being made from neoprene, it protects the lens much more than the standard case that comes from your lens manufacture allowing the lens to slide around inside it. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I don't care for the velcro on the outside of the sleeve. I know it is meant to attach an optional hood hat, but I do not use those. So, only downside is when putting this sleeve into your bag sometimes the velcro clings to the inside of the bag - would be best if they made 2 versions of this sleeve, 1 with & 1 w/o the velcro section. Other than that, I LOVE this product!!!
