Just when I thought I was gonna have to throw out my whole cleaning rod because I bent it and broke the threads off at one end. I found this spare part,fits great,works great, saves a lot of money.

Great rod don't have to worry about scratching your fire arm using it wish they made a longer one and a better detachable handle

I bought 7 of these plus a female adapter to add a brass rod to my round Otis cleaning kit and it fit perfectly in the pack overall expanding the usefulness of the kit all while having a small profile. The rods are solid with the exception the the threaded ends, the rods do not appear to be hallow inside. They are about 3.5 inches or less and are the same size included in the round cleaning kits. They screw into the Otis bone tool or with a female to female adapter you can use your original obstruction remover + handle as a complete cleaning rod.

I purchased the male rod as part of a specialty kit I made for a custom rifle I have. Nothing Otis made fitbexactly so I adapted their 45 kit to fit my needs. I’m very happy with all the Otis products I have and will continue to use them.
