Strap is everything I expected from Op-Tech and Adorama. The last Op-Tech strap lasted me 10+ years of commercial almost daily useage. Had already sent a comment to Adorama about how nice it was to be directed to their website form a search engine and get to the exact product I was asking for. No home screen, pick a list or category, yada, yada, yada. The strap was on the screen when the website opened. Did tech reviews on it. Ordered it. had it in a couple days. What else is there!!!???

The neck strap is fairly comfortable for me and the webbing connectors are quieter than the uni-loop connectors which clattered against the camera when tripod mounted. I do use a uni-loop attached to the tripod to quick-connect the camera to the tripod as a safety strap - this makes a quick transition from the neck strap to secure tripod mount. Adorama has good pricing & fast order processing.

I purchased this camera strap to give me a nice strap for a 2nd camera. I looked for Op/Tech since I have been so happy with my first strap from their company for the past 10 years or so. This model turns out to be even better, with a "non-slip" coating on the inner part of the padded strap that does an excellent job of keeping it positioned on the shoulder. Very nice -- and highly recommended!

I own two of these straps for both of my DSLR cameras. They are inexpensive and a lot more comfortable than the strap that comes with the camera. It's all about comfort.

I love this strap! I used it briefly on my D60 and will soon be moving it onto my new D5100. The shoulder area is well padded and seems to be solidly constructed. It is better at distributing the weight and much more comfortable than the Nikon strap that came with the camera. The connecting cords are much longer than the Nikon strap's as well, which is great since I'm 6'1" and like the camera to hang right at my waist (I carry it over my shoulder). I also like that there is no visible logo, which makes you stand out less. The only negative I see is that the ladder connectors feel cheaper than the ones on the Nikon strap. This is not a problem since they don't bear the weight. They only keep the two sides of the strap from sliding. I mention it only for the sake of thoroughness. They function just fine.

The strap length is very generous to wear across the shoulder. I bought the strap with extensions because the strap that came with my Nikon D5000 was too short for me. It turns out it was long enough without the extensions! What I do is I set it up where i can comfortably wear it around my neck and if i want to wear it across the shoulder i simply snap in the extensions. The flexibility it offers is phenomenal.

The Op/Tech Super Classic Strap 3/8" looks to be well made - and made in the USA! The pad is made of a neoprene like covered in fabric/non skid/stretchable material that is wide enough to support the weight of a DSLR and remain really comfortable to wear. You can detach the pad from the rest of the strap with a male connector on one end and a female connector at the other. So, you can convert it from a sholder to a wrist strap. Op/Tech sells a variety of accessory connectors and straps of different lengths allowing you to attach it to backpacks or customize it any way you like. It even comes in different colors. IMHO This is a great strap. I would happily buy it again!

Great Strap for Anyone

Great strap for anyone
For the photographer/birdwatcher carrying a heavy camera or binoculars, the SUPER CLASSIC STRAP is a great option. It has the same tailored design as the popular CLASSIC STRAP; however, it adds the patented internal control-stretch system found in the S.O.S. Strap in addition to Op/Tech's Non Slip Grip. This combination is ideal for the individual wanting a narrower strap design that has the needed strength and comfort features required for handling a heavy load.
The Super Classic Strap is available in four popular connection options:
Pro Loop: uses Pro Loop connections
3/8": uses 3/8" wide webbing
Bino 3/8": uses 3/8" wide webbing, but does not have Quick Disconnects
Uni-Loop: uses Uni Loops (included with strap)
This SUPER CLASSIC STRAP has 3/8" webbing connectors
