Comfortable and convenient

This is a comfortable strap for folks who prefer to hand-hold their camera. It's plenty big for huge hands, strong enough to catch even heavy SLRs if they slip out of your hand (don't hang the camera by the strap, though -- you can pull out the lug; hold it in your hand and rely on the strap as a life preserver if you drop it), easy to attach and remove, and inexpensive. If you use Op/Tech straps, chances are the strap will use the same clips, handy if sometimes you like the camera hanging around your neck. I use this strap on both film and digital SLRs, up to Nikon D200 and Canon T90. It works great, keeping in mind the warning above. I have no complaints at all, and will probably buy a couple more.

Good for small cameras. Less so for FF

Not bad. Attaches securely to the camera and feels comfortable in the wrist. Only gets three stars because I don't like the bounce when you drop the camera. If I'm kneeling down and lose my grip, I have to expect that it will fall the length of the strap plus another inch or two because the neoprene stretches under the weight of my 6D and L lens. If you're going to use it on a crop or mirror less, something markedly lighter than a full frame, it is a 5 star product. Great price point.

I put this strap on an old rangefinder film camera. It works great. I never did like neck straps. This is perfect.

Op/Tech is a great system

I use the OP/Tech wrist strap and the Camera/Binocular harness. I don't like camera neck straps, and this combo makes the camera conveniently ready to use even for an extended time period. Swiching from the harness to the wrist strap is absolutely secure, since the camera is always attached to you. The whole OP/Tech system is great.

Nice Wrist Strap

Very comfortable, strong, a great quality. You can hold your camera with secure. Of course you won't hold it many hours, this strap is more for secure, and to avoid to leave drop it. I'm talking about DSLR cameras.

Works well...good price

I recently purchased a Sony Cybershot DSC HX200V and wanted to find a wrist strap or grip that would help me to keep from dropping it while in use. This works well. It is adjustable and not too bulky. I'm glad that I bought it.

Nice Product

I use the Op-Tech shoulder strap, so I already had the connection on my D800e. Now I can use the wrist strap when I don't need the neck/shoulder strap and not worry about dropping the camera. It's very comfortable and adjusts to any wrist size.

Great Accessory

At first I was leery about purchasing this seemingly cheap wrist strap for my camera. When I received it I was surprised by the quality, and felt that in the off chance the camera did slip from my hand, this thing would be there to save me. I don't think this is going to be good to hang your camera off of while you're not using it, but then again, who in their right mind would do that with their DSLR. All around I'm pleased with the quality and the low price.

A handy wrist strap for your camera...

By

If the neck strap on your camera is annoying you, this is a good alternative. This wrist strap is strong, easily adjustable for a snug fit, and comfortable. The only issue I had is that many new cameras have small strap eyes, so I had to use a split ring on the camera to attach the strap.

Good Strap

Wanted a strap that would support the camera but had grown tired of the various neckstraps. This will be used with a Canon G12 on an upcoming cruise. To me, this helps to make the camera 'the ultimate'

Peace of mind

Bought this to provide insurance against accidents dropping camera. Heavy camera hanging from this strap for normal carrying isn't a good idea. It provides additional stabilization during shoot. I would have liked an extension piece to allow attaching the shoulder strap onto the camera for carrying to and from shoot.
