This produce provide a bridge to your old storage devices, HDMI, and other devices when connecting to most of the new Macs. This is my second unit and is performing as expected. It is used a desk to interface the connected devices and Ethernet cable. If you have to use Ethernet cables to setup routers, this box can bridge the gap to the USB-C connections.
