Great product

I love the large size and versatility of this product- the one bad thing but I am learning to work with it is the poles don't stay snug in the holes- they are being held together by the fabric- you certainly need 2 hands to mount the thing.

Not so pleased

The concept is great behind this reflector, two problems the gramount is too big on one end have to use a clip to hold in in place, the "white" part of the panel is actually more of a ugly "grey" not flattering light.

Great Full-length Reflector

By

I bought this to use as a reflector for studio stills as well as full length portraits. I expected the design to make this somewhat top heavy. Therefore, I bought a Matthews 5 lbs. shot weight with it. This was just perfect to keep the stand stable. The one criticism I have is that the supporting rods simple slide into holes on the bottom of the hardware and are held there by the refletor tension itself. I'd like to see a rubber sleeve over the rod or have it screw into the mount. Once I have the reflector attached to all four rods I have no trouble with it though. This is perfect for reflecting on to large subjects in the studio or absorbing light when you want to bring out more shadow. This really helds to produce three-dimensionality to your studio photos.

Room for improvement

By

These units are easy to set up and tear down which is great when you do this many times a week. But the white side is not white, it is a light gray and as such is simply does not reflect enough light to make this unit useful. I am going to try to attach a 'real' white reflector panel and see if I can achieve the results I am looking for. If not, these will be returned as they are not usable as they stand.

love the stand, not the fabric

By

from Dallas  -  Pro Photographer

love the adjustability of this stand, and the lightweight portability.... but it's just not reflecting enough light for me. Trying to find a different fabric panel so I can continue to use it! Don't really want to buy another reflector just for the fabric, but.....
