Works exactly as described. With over 6,000 pictures to scan it's a good start.

I absolutely LOVE this item. I took all my old pictures and put them through this and now on a SD card and run them through my digital photo frame.... mines 15" and we set it to run for 3 hours a night. We find ourselves looking at it more than the TV!!! No more memories in a drawer - now they're right out here for everyone to enjoy DAILY!!!

I bought this little but powerful scanner when my aunt announced they were going to go through the photos at my grandma's house (after her passing). I knew the photos would end up at different homes & I wanted to have some copies of the photos for myself. The scanner is small so it's wonderful to take to any location to scan photos. It's also nice that you don't need to have a computer hooked up to it, it will scan onto the memory card that comes with it. I am very pleased with how easy it is to use, the portability of it & the end results. It doesn't do color adjustment or anything like that but it does what it was created to do - scan photos. It will scan anything from a wallet size (or even smaller) to an 8 x 10 photo.

Wonderful for anyone wanting to get the family photos in order and save them. Even a friend who's a techno-phobe had no trouble with it! Easy setup, easy to run. I got the one which scans larger photos - the best if you have old ones in odd sizes. Would benefit from a guide to start the photos and keep them lined up - otherwise, it's just great.

I had wanted a machine exactly like this and was so surprised that I couldn't find one....until I discovered this Pan Digital. I have thousands of photos and knew it could take the rest of my days to scan them to my computer the "old-fashion" way. I love that it does not need to be connected to the computer, but....I do wish it had a small memory card screen like larger ones have, so you could see what you have scanned without using the computer. I'd hate to spend time scanning hundreds and later discover something had gone wrong and they did not scan. Adding that and battery capability are my only suggestions. Never the less, I really love it!

I am scanning boxes and boxes of photos for 3 families and the Pandigital scan is the best. I had purchased 3 other scanners before the Pandigital. The Pandigital is faster and easier to use then all the others. I do not have to be attached to my computer all the time and I don't have to put the photos in a tray which took up a lot of time.

Best home photo scanner I've ever used.
