Shopper : can you tell me where to get the adapter to play the mini in my vhs?ANDREW S : Sorry, I don't know where you can get one of those. I always digitized my tapes and printed to DVD.TANASHAE D : Panasonic makes one of these for MiniDV to DVCPro VTRs - you can get it right here on Adorama - just search the Mfr. Part: AJ-CS455 or the Adorama SKU: PCAJCS455.
There is not an adapter that I am aware of to be able to play these tapes in either VHS or SVHS players. You would actually have to plug your camera into a VCR and record from the MiniDV to VHS.
If you are looking to transfer the tapes and do not have a deck or the original camera, you can look into transfer services in your area.ANDY D : Ebay is a good place to find the adapters if Adorama does not carry them. You will get better quality platback using your recorder if possible, the RCA cables should make it easy to go from your camera to the television.ANTHONY T : I never played the mini in my VHS. I don't know if you can. You can use the mini usb port to play it on your computer though

What does it mean used? some one recorded on it and then it was erased? There was no rating on "N".PATRICIA N : Well I don't know why this item has a rating "N" I know it means New and that the item is virgin, there is no recording on it, it's just like any other new tape that you get at any other store. I bought this tapes and I haven't had no problems at all, this tapes perform even better than sony, since I try this tape I stopped buying any other brands, this tape gained my trust and I will used them for the time to come. Don't be afraid of buying this tapes you wont be disappointed.TIMOTHY S : I believe "N" refers to New in regards to accessories, meaning someone probably purchased a number of the tapes then didn't need them all and sold them back or upgraded their camera to a non-tape media and had no need for them. It should still be in its original packaging. If you go to the used status page, then scroll down it lists New at the bottom. That's what I would assume they mean by "N".KEITH E : I see they have used tapes for .39 less. Go for the new.KEITH E : These are new tapes. Have used them for 15 years.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?TANASHAE D : These are (or should be considered) industry standard for MiniDV tapes. Quality of recording is the best I have gotten off any and tapes last (I use the tapes to keep raw footage for the life of the business).

Just like Sinatra - a standard.
When you need a product you can rely on, Panasonic has it with their PQ series tapes. I personally prefer the 63 minute to the 83 (thickness over length). I have no problem swapping out a tape when I am close. I shoot my wedding videos on these and the footage is always on the mark. I archive the tapes with unedited footage for future (if any) needs.

HIGHEST QUALITY AT THE RIGHT PRICE!
Best bang for your buck for quality MiniDV that is reliable in the field and in the editing bay. Never any problems with these tapes even after several uses. Best MiniDV tape for pros and amateurs.

Decent Video Cassettes
I've been shooting video with this tape for over 4 years and have had consistent results time and time again. Very cost effective for live event mastering. Storage cases are durable and do not break easily like some other manufacturers.

The only tape I use now
I've used mini-DV tapes made by several different companies and varied levels of quality. I used one "master" level Panasonic one that cost much more and gummed up my heads constantly with no increase in video quality. This tape is consistently good quality with low cost, and I would highly recommend it for any video use. I shoot real estate video tours, and even with supplemental lighting occassionally I have to use a high level of gain for a very dark room - while the video quality has some noise it is nowhere as grainy as I would have expected. Don't waste money on more expensive tapes with no better performance.

This tape has become my DV & HD standard
I've used DV tapes ranging from drugstore cheapies (in emergencies) up to $25+ "master quality" tapes that are supposedly better for HDV than so-called "standard" DV tapes. But these Panasonic tapes perform just as well as higher-priced tapes, so why should I buy anything more expensive? :)

Great tape, great case!
I've been using this tape for years. Seems great for the price. Never a dropout. The little plastic cases are so nice, stay shut, and are square for easy stacking.

Great Tape... always consistent
This has always been my standard stock. I shoot events and short movies and have never had any issues with this tape.
