Inadequate Caller ID screen
The lack of backlighting of the Caller ID screen is a serious issue. Also, there should be an ability to tilt the screen independently of the level of the phone unit. Programing of the unit is also too complicated. Dialing buttons, One-Touch buttons. Hold button, and speakerphone button should have a color (grey) contrasting them from the main body of the unit for visual ease of operation. It's regrettable that designers of a phone unit cannot come up with a design which would incorporate all of the items.

Connection where handset plugs into phone is bad.. Manual says to contact Panasonic and send it back.. They have no address in manual. They want you to contact them first.. Joke. Call one number and they send your call somewhere elsewhere and all you get is a recording..Email them and they give you a different email to contact..Tried 4x and nothing..I'm trying 1 more time....

Unable to make it a wall phone
I bought this phone because it said I could make it a wall phone but it is impossible to push the two tabs in order to move the wall mount adapter. I sent it back in exchange for another of the same model, thinking some how the two tabs got glued down but the new one is just the same. I really don't need all the fancy stuff and I'd like to keep this phone but I must have a phone that will mount on the wall.

Good phone for home use
I haven't had this phone for very long and have not used all of its functions yet. So far I'm very pleased with it.

Phone is just Ok
I have 2 of the TS880W model. We love the 1 button Dialing feature of the phone. What we really like is the viewing area that says who is calling. But, even with changing batteries, we no longer can see who is calling us at all, nothing shows up. But phone will show us how many calls we've missed in that same box. We wanted a land line in case power goes out we still have a phone. BUT, without the ~~ who is calling~~ feature, the phone is no longer useful to us.. Yes, it has happened to both phones at the same time. Get the extended warranty

Poor mic pickup but otherwise fine
This phone replaces a 20-year-old ATT desk phone that had a great speaker and great mic pickup. We very much like to converse via speakerphone, and with this new Panasonic phone, people on the other end of the call report a tinny, down-in-a-hole sound on their end. We have found if we put our mouths closer to the phone set, the quality is better. Also, no "line in use" indicator.
This phone is compact, nice looking, and grips a smooth counter-top very well. The higher mode for the stand makes the phone much easier to use and the readout much easier to see. I think we shall be happy with this phone in the long run.

Purchased and tried 6 phones. I kept one Panasonic
Shopped, sent or returned 5 other makes of phones. None of the other brands could even slightly compare to the Panasonic. It has all the features that I was shopping for plus the Panasonic name which means quality. I have had the phone about 2 weeks now and am extremely well pleased with it. I sincerely recommend this product to anybody looking for a good wall phone.

Overall, good...
Works like charm, I am very satisfied. Have somehow high noise level in speakerphone mode, so if you do not speak loud enough, your voice may be cut as a noise, and the other party wont hear you. Really needs back light on screen (maybe buttons too). I use this phone at home, sometimes calling in dark, and I really miss the back light. I am surprised Panasonic missed this.
