The Panasonic PT-EX500UL LCD Projector is ideally suited for fixed installations and public display venues including independent cinema, live events, educational institutions, entertainment and advertising or as the hub of cutting-edge home theater applications.

With a brightness of 5000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000:1, the PT-EX500UL is encased in a ruggedized chassis for high reliability and durability. It has a 4:3 aspect ratio and XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 that are complimented by an increased functionality and a variety of features.

The Daylight View Basic technology achieves sharp, easy-to-see images by clearly reproducing the details in dark image areas, which were previously difficult to see in brightly lit rooms. A built-in sensor measures the ambient light and the Daylight View Basic function adjusts the halftone color and brightness level according to the surrounding illumination.

The PT-EX500UL's wide connectivity includes HDMI and DVI-D input terminals, two sets of computer (RGB) input terminals and a serial (RS-232C) terminal for external control. It is also possible to output audio during Standby mode. This is convenient when connecting an external audio system through the projector.
