I did try this capture clip V2 but I didn’t use this yet....I think this thing make photographer more faster to get camera on work.....but it’s little expensive

Why didn't I buy this sooner?!
I've been hiking and backpacking for over 35 years and struggling with how to carry my camera and backpack together for almost that long. The strap chafes my neck, the camera flops around as I scramble through rocky sections, etc. Not anymore! The Capture Clip securely holds my camera in one place. My only complaint is that it is extremely difficult to attach the clip to the thick straps on my overnight backpack (day pack is no problem at all). I suggest to Peak Design that they offer longer screws that could be swapped out depending on which pack you are using. Otherwise, in a word, brilliant device!

I have several of these... Both Capture and CapturePro
These are bullet proof. They just work. Yes, Sometimes they can bind up but you see the little black screw knob on the other side from the red release button? That adjusts how tight the plate fits in the slot. I have 5 of these and have used them extensively. Loosen that knob if the red button will not release the plate easily. Additionally, the top of the red button is designed to twist to prevent someone from stealing gear on a busy train or to keep you from inadvertently hitting the button and releasing your gear while climbing or hiking. Another guy mentioned that the thumb screws that came with his capture were not long enough to go around a large padded back-pack strap. Maybe it is just with the CapturePro but I think not. Look in the microfiber cloth bag that comes with the Capture. There are two screws that are LONGER by a couple of centimeters to allow you to affix the Capture to a thicker mounting point. This system is awesome. More versatile than RRS's new system even although I have an new L-Plate from them that uses the QR release system and have purchased a couple of QR Strap Swivels from them to use with my Peak straps. They work well.

Best way to carry a camera
Love using this thing when backpacking, or even on my daily backpack. I never liked neck straps, and I always have a backpack with me so this was a no brainer. The camera is easily accessible and secure when not in use. Great lil product.

Does the job.
I bought this to clip o to my Lowepro camera backpack. Unfortunately...the big pack pack I bought doesn't quite really fit my 5D Mark III as I thought it would....the camera is slightly too big. But fits my other gear just fine ie: flashes, lenses, ipad/macbook, batteries. So as a quick fix, I purchased this clip, however, it's hard to clip onto this backpack, as the straps are a little too thick. Maybe not made to go onto a "camera" backpack? A little disappointed
I don't always have a need to wear a belt, but I do when I want to use the clip.i think it could be better.

The worse thing in entire store
I returned the first one .. they gave me a new one and the problem is this unit locks and the red button (release button) does not release the plate that goes to the camera.

Awesome Quality
I have been wanting one of these since they originally started marketing them. I was excited to receive my order.
Immediately when opening the packaging the high quality was evident. While I've had minimal use in the field I have had an opportunity to play with it and I'm really pleased with the sturdiness and how it secures my camera.
