Film washer a work horse!
I use the washer to eliminate hypo traces from film just processed. I like the fact that it handles from one to five reels of film at once and is very easy to switch from one batch of film to the next in seconds. This beats the old hose in the tank method which never really got the film clean. Michael :-)
Complete washing of your film is as essential as proper development. This Film Washer will gently wash your negatives to archival standards. It differs greatly from conventional overflow washers which bring in water from the bottom and the contaminated water eventually overflows at the top. The AQUA/ VAC also fills from the bottom, but quickly and automatically empties from the bottom by vacuum syphon-action, which discharges all contaminated water 2-3 times a minute. The AQUA/VAC protects your film from abrasions caused by high turbulence and unwinding of the reel which is typical in conventional washers.
