AARON K : Does this beauty dish work with the flashpoint 320 strobe?ERIC A : It has a bowens mount, so unless the 320 has a bowens mount you will need to use an adaptor.

Not sure how easy it would be to replace, however you'd have to really exert considerable force/preasure to break one of the many used to open n secure!JEFF T : fiberglass. not sure if it's easily replacable? used it for the first time at the beach. very windy conditions but very sturdy.JUSTIN B : I've had this beauty dish for quite a while. The rods appear to be made of a strong plastic that is slightly bendable, as shown in the photo. Under regular use, I can't see them breaking any time soon. They do not appear to be user replaceable, however, I imagine if one (or even several) did break, the dish would still be usable. The hard plastic sections provide the majority of the shape and resiliency for the dish, the long radial rods only shape the outer part of the dish.ERIC A : The rods are fiberglass and they don't look easy to replace if they break
Steve M : How does the performance compare with a standard hard shell beauty dish?William H : Hi, Standard beauty dishes in most cases give you better performance and coverage. Hard to measure, unless you meter both types of dishes, but since the insides are typically smoother there is no chance for light to be affected or influenced by the inside supports or tines. They perform better without the added sock or diffusion helping to create different qualities of light. The upside of the Luna folding dish is the ease of transport especially if you are traveling I hope this helps. Regards, Will H.

Really like construction

Like construction and ease of setup with this beauty dish. However, just wish it was deeper and had capability for grid placement.

Nice beauty dish

This is a great beauty dish, they were out of the silver so ended up going with the white. Works great on any Bowens mount, but I also use it with a speed light adapter. Easy to set up and very portable, the plastic rods make this very durable. Dropped mine a couple times with light and it did not bend or break.

The Phottix Luna Folding Beauty Dish makes taking a beauty dish on location easy. It folds down and is easier to transport than traditional metal beauty dishes. Great to take on-location. Constructed from high-temperature softbox material, it features internal fibreglass supports. Phottix Luna Beauty Dishes provide light characteristics comparable with conventional metal beauty dishes

With Interchangable Speed Rings this modifier can be used on many different studio strobes. Use it with a Bowens-compatible speed ring (included) and the Phottix HS Speed Mount II for use with a hot shoe flash, speed rings for Profoto, Elinchrom and Balcar (sold separately)
