Matte Boxes are used to prevent lens flares and allow for the use of changeable filters in front of the camera lens. The wide screen format shade is augmented with three adjustable flags.
The Phottix Matte Box has two filter trays accepting 4"x4" and 4"x5.65" filters. The filter trays can be rotated 360 degrees. Mounts on most popular DSLR rig systems.
