Pelican Divider Set for the 1500 & 1504 Cases

I thought the divider set was more useful than the pick and pluck foam that comes with the 1500, but the sizes of separators need improvement. I had to scrounge from other divider sets to get the sizes I needed for my case. I was able to find what I needed from other sets, but it would have been extremely more satisfying to have all the sizes I needed right there in the supplied kit. Just a couple mid-sized pieces would probably have sufficed.

I had a pelican 1500 case for about 11 years with the pluck out foam and had it set up for astronomical eyepieces and equipment. Then I needed a case to safely store my lens collection. I didnt want to go with the foam again because once you pull it apart, thats it-done, no room to change as equioment is added or deleted. These dividers can be changed and rearanged as you add or change equipment as many times as you want. The dividers are well stiched and plenty of velcro to attach where you need it. I get around 5-6 lenses plus a 70-200mm lens and still have room for various other items. No foam for me, I'll take the dividers.

Great for personalizing to suit your own equipment. I used this insert for my new digital underwater sea and sea MX 1 camera and two flashes. Works great and reduced my case to a carry on for air travel.
