Excellent case with some small nits

This is an excellent travel case, especially if you fly, since it will fit into the overhead compartment. If you're in a small plane or jet and it has to go into the hold you can have confidence that there is no way it will be crushed or punctured. My only reservation about this case - and it is a small one - is that the wheel wells protrude into the case itself and there is no padding over the hard plastic. My only reservation about this case - and it is a small one - is that the wheel wells protrude into the case itself and there is no padding over the hard plastic. For me this means that I need to be cautious about what I put into the case near the wheel wells, or I need to add more padding. Not an insurmountable problem, but good to be aware of.

Just perfect for this photographer

By

It's just big enough to carry my 5D III with 24-70 (or 70-200), 3 600EXRT's, various small accessories (batteries, remote shutter release, flash controller/transmitter). Could it be bigger? sure, but not interested as it would no longer fit for airplane carryon, and would make the overall loaded package too heavy to be practical for day to day.

A Must For Expensive Equipment

By

I use this item instead of a camera bag because of the extra protection. It's very well made. Adjust the dividers and your equipment will stay put. The lid organizer helps even more. Just a little heavy, but it does have wheels.

A great case that is very versatile

By

We had looked at a lot of different options for cases. We use this as a primary carrying case to be able to hold most of our gear. We have a smaller more portable case when we need to use it. The size is perfect for traveling.

Outstanding Product!

By

These cases are the best if you worry about the safety of your gear. The case is heavy once loaded but this should be obvious. Everything about the case is well built and quality. I will be buying more

I have purchased this more than 1 time!

We use these when we fly and get into remote areas and at times may have someone else handle some of your gear. We carry two of them and so far everything has come out in the same condition it went in.

Nima W  Can it fit my 16" Sony Laptop ,Nikon D7000 with 18-300mm lens,Venroe travel angle tripod with small other accessories ?
JOSEPH S  Probably if you do not have the add on pockets that are an accessory in the lid.
Nima W  Hi Joseph, thanks for suggestion, I definitely take out the lid pocket to fit my delicate gears in safe.

RICHARD D  I will answer my own question soon by weighing my equipment, but this seems almost too robust. It's marketed as a carry-on for air travel, but as of 2013, the weight limit on such a piece is 18 pounds (~8kg). However, the piece itself is spec at over 13 pounds with dividers. Only hold 5 pounds of equipment if you're traveling by air! Has anybody had an issue with this?
HEATHER A  I've travelled to Europe and the Far East and all over the USA as recently as last month, with my d800 d 300 cameras, 70-200, 500, 28-300 and 16-35, one flash unit, battery charger, ,batteries, filters, my IPad and other small accessories, never even had to open it up, not once. I have carried it on every time to date, but I do have TSA locks so if it has to be stowed at the last minute at the door, I can lock it...although I wouldn't be happy. This case is rugged and very stable to roll, it never tips and stands a lot of rough treatment.
