Plantronics Audio 628 Stereo USB Headset

I found them at an outlet and didn0t expect so much from this headset, but it's really high quality. Even my remote colleagues mentioned that my voice now is amazingly clear. Very recommended.

Manual states to install software from plantronics.com/audio but did not indicate the name of the software. I tried to install the Plantronics Hub software then restarted the PC but still it's not working. Also, it does not work on Skype using Google Chrome. I already added the Skype for Web extension/plugin. Restarted Chrome but still does not work. It works on the MS Edge browser though.

I bought this headset since it markets its noise cancelling feature apparently I did not get what I'm expecting since the people I'm talking with through Skype would often hear the noise like chickens and dogs barking so loud and clear even if I close every window at my home.

Good resistant product of medium-high quality, perfect for my work. I want to buy more but the local distributors told me that the product is discontinued and the other models are more expensive Blackwire C320 and C3220. If it is discontinued what model is your new equivalent? Could I still buy this model 628? The new models are very expensive and their quality are the same. I would have liked that if the product is discontinued take their equivalent as happened with the 626 and then it was the 628, however it has not left one like it.

I bought this a month ago and made numerous live call tests. I adjusted everything and followed the T/S to improve the noise cancellation feature. However, it is still the same thing. Everything can be heard on the recording; the background noise and even the music played at a house party which is 20 meters away from me. But yes, it captures good sound quality and my voice is clear.

It's reliable but needs improvement on the noise-cancelling features. It needs more work. Noise-cancelling is not up to the standard of the brand. Other than that it works well with my devices and there are no connectivity issues. Maybe just update the noise-cancelling feature through software updates and such.

i have using this 628 for a long time. The headset is very reliable and I'm using it right now for dictating this review. I do YouTube recordings, I do videos of all sorts, have no issues with any type of noise cancellation problems I have with other mics. Thank you plantonics for making this excellent old type headset that I preferred to use. Sincerely Laz

I purchased this yesterday and actually it does hear all the background noises even the footsteps you make. Not satisfied, I don't recommend this to anyone.

It is very nice and high quality product. I have only one issue. Windows 10 recognizes it as "Speakers" not "headphone". I have installed plantronics hub but the problem still exists. I appreciate if you let me know the fix of this issue.

I've been using this for 6 months, and every time I keep on praying that my dog which is far away from my room will not bark! and I can hear my dog barking at my students speaker. My mic is at 35% and I close all the windows and the door. Any suggestions please?
