I have this bag and a mid 2009 MBP that I store inside an InCase carrying pouch. It slides into the main pouch with some room for other essentials. Not room for much else in the main pouch, but it fits well with enough room for some extras. If you have a newer MBP (retina w/out the optical CD drive) it's thinner and you'll have more room to spare. The dedicated iPad storage and other compartments provide enough room I need for my other essentials: chargers, multitool, laser, light, IEM box and space to spare.KHOI N : Yes it will on the inside, but not in the hard iPad caseNICHOLAS H : No. I thought it would fit my 13 inch MacBook Air and it's too big.

Great Quality

You can't beat Pelican for quality and this bag is no exception. Great for packing light and pretty comfy on the back. It is a little heavier than most bags but it's rugged and sturdy so I can't complain.

Quality protection and value, but very tight compartments

Pelican quality at a great price, but I was hoping that one of the three protected compartments could be used for a camera or lenses (mft) a little larger than a small, compact travel camera, but they all have very little depth. If only the bottom compartment had gone from the back to front

a decent backpack

Nice design for tablets. Solid backpack at this price level. But heavy, no enough room for regular FF DSLR systems. The size fits a camera body, a 24-105L and a 70-200F4 very well, but without hoods. Maybe it is more suitable for mirrorless cameras and lenses users.
