Gets the job done

It is a wonder to own, it allows your flash to go off-camera so you can experiment with different and better light. Although it is pretty pricey for how simple it is, I am still willing to buy it. The only problem (except for the price value) is that the foot doesn't slide into the hot shoe easily at all. You must force it in with quite a bit of power; much more than necessary. If the foot was a tiny bit smaller it would be much better!

VHS-6C Vivitar to Hot Shoe 5 Foot Coiled

Hot Shoe: Fits most cameras with hot shoe feature. Works with hot shoes that have large center contact. Unique design allows shoe to slide in either way. Cord faces side rather than back to front. The only alternative to the PC.Vivitar: Fits all Vivitar flashes that accept this single pin plug. Tip is inserted into a small hole on the side of the flash. On Vivitar 285 and 285HV, the connection is on side of Hot Shoe.
