Simple yet powerful remote

By

The control I get using the Air system is amazing, and works 100% of the time. It is easy to control each group, or all strobes and manage the on/off state and power levels very simply from one location. The only down side to the AIR system is that Sekonic doesn't have a trigger module for their light meters, so you lose the ability to have the light meter trigger the strobes. However, since I also owned a TT5 (pocketwizard), placing the AIR transceiver on top of the TT5 allowed the Sekonic to trigger the AIR system.

Questions about this item:

Cothish C  Hi. Can anyone tell me the difference between this remote and the one for B1 portable strobe? TTL air remote for B1 is designed for Canon to work with it. This one doesn't. So how this comunicate with new canon line up if is universal, not specialy designed for Canon? I just do not understand. Please explain anyone. Thanks
JULIAN H  This works just fine with Canon! it has not cannon functions. It just fits hot shoe and fires what ever strobe attached. I have mine that came with the D1 airs and they may or may not run the Canon, there is software supplied with the units but it optional and I have not loaded it does act as a both tx and rx depending on its mode....I have used it to work with my D1 as well as older speedotrons when you have a pair.
Cothish C  Thank you
